On Sunday July 19, 2009 Mrs. Helen Jordan presented a selection of the many poems her husband, the late Rev Boyd F. Jordan had written through the years. The selection of pictures following are in a clockwise direction:
(1) Mrs. Helen Jordan with her son and daughter and Mrs. Jo Ann Roche (wife of Mayor Dewey Roche.)
(2) A close-up of the crochet fabric which adorned the table under Reverend Jordan's poems. The history behind this piece is sweet. It was crocheted by Rev. Boyd Jordan's mother. She started this labor of love before the Second World War and with the shortage of material, could not complete it until the War was over, she took up where she left off four or five years earlier. It is really a masterpiece.
