Every one of the 83 children of Auburn 3rd Grade enjoyed their tour of the Library & Museum. This is an experience that will remain with many of these children throughout their lives.

Getting organized to tour the Museum Complex

Mrs. Eloise Hadden, President of the Auburn Historical Society, preparing to move out with her group

Mrs. Helen Jordan explaining the intricacies of yesteryear, teaching several Grades in a One Room School

Mrs. Frances Blackford explains to her group the 'comforts' in the kitchen (which is set up in the Barn) of the 1900 to 1950's era

Mrs. Gibbs explains the history of the many artifacts including a detailed explanation of the old telephone system and the shared telephone lines.
