Pictures of the Dedication of the Auburn High School Tiger Trophies

Sunday October 22, 2006

Auburn High School Tiger Trophies

The sports trophies of Auburn High School have found a new home! They are now at the Auburn Museum, compliments of several concerned citizens and businesses. There will be a short dedication ceremony on the grounds of the museum at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 22nd 2006. All former coaches, athletes, cheerleaders, students, and fans are invited. Be sure to bring your favorite Auburn sports memory!

After the dedication the principal of Auburn Elementary School, Mr. Ward, has kindly invited those attending the dedication to visit the Auburn Elementary School to view the recently painted mural of the old Auburn College (Grade School), Auburn High School and Gym.

In the event of inclement weather the dedication ceremony will be moved to The Auburn Elementary School.

Dedication Day - Sunday October 22nd 2006

It was a wonderful turn-out on Sunday October 22nd, 2006 at the dedication of the Auburn High School Tiger Trophies. Eric Rogers, a former Tiger was welcomed along with memories of former coaches, former athletes, cheerleaders, students, and fans. I am slow to mention names in case I let someone out, but I have to comment on the wonderful effort Mrs. Eloise Hadden, Mrs. Dawn Slaton and the Jordan family of Colonial House Furniture have put in to make this day possible.
